It has all to do with food. Nutrition determines the shape of one’s health. The food we eat can be compare with fuel. Human cells – more than 90 trillion of then, require a constant supply of nutrients on a daily basis, in order to stay healthy and provide the energy necessary for us to stay well.
The food we eat affect every cell in the body, and, therefore, every aspect of life: our mood, our thinking ability, our sex drive, our sleeping form and of course our physical appearance and general wellbeing. As the adage goes: 'We are what we eat'.,
One of the firsts things we should do in order to change the signs of ageing is to start detoxifying the cells.
It is particularly intriguing that, in the Bible, when the creator was giving instructions to the first humans as to what was going to be their food, he mentioned plants and fruits. In Genesis 1:29 we read “ Here I have given to you all vegetation bearing seed which is on the surface of the whole earth and every tree on which there is the fruit of a tree bearing seed. To you let it serve as food.”
The structure of our teeth and jaw are for frugivores. Also, our saliva, alkaline and with ptyalin, makes it easier the pre-digestion of grains. We are clearly not carnivores by physiology – we have a body composition and digestive system ideal for eating fruits, nuts, grains, and vegetables.
Ideally then, we should be only eating raw vegetables and fruit. That is the first and surest way to slow down ageing and kick-start the rejuvenation process, but, alas, that is easier said than done. Of course, there are a few people who thrive in natural food eating, with the exclusion of all animal products and cooked foods, and they claim utterly impressive results, both in their looks and energy levels.
It is all down to knowing yourself; understanding your potential and accepting your limits. It is not easy to do that. Depending on your personal metabolism, can even be impossible to continue with a complete raw diet. It is worth to try and see what you can obtain.
Another option is to test, combining some meals of only fresh and others with little cooked food.
People who always eat animal products are susceptible to all sorts of degenerative changes in their bodies. They may be constantly victims of infections, flu and colds. On the outside, they may increasingly have sagged folds in the face and neck, flabby arms and protruding stomachs that impair their form with other distressing signs.
All these external cues are indicative of a serious lack of power at the cellular level, and what they mean is that the body is gradually surrendering to the process of ageing.
I said at the outset that I needed to start somewhere. I think detoxifying your cells will be the first thing you can do to establish the ageing reversing process.
How do you do that? First of all, by severely cutting back on chocolate bars, cheese, pasta, pizzas and other fatty and sugary stuff that produce toxins in your body. Of course, quitting smoking is a must too, if you smoke at all.
While you cut back on unhealthy food, try to create incorporating healthy nutrients in your meals, specially healthy fluids which will open up the process of detoxification at a cellular level.
